Look at the Signal Pole

Another funny accident occurred near my home. a JCB machine pulled a cable from a pole and then after some time the cable was pulled with a double Decker bus and the signal post just came down.
Mumbai Polics and Mumbai Fire Brigade were very fast to act and they picked the pole from in between the road and put it in the side of the road. The signal guys are working hard on war putting for puting back the signals on place.

I was walking on street of our housing complex which is under redevelopement and I came across a parked truck with metal rods in it. A person was sleeping on those rods. It was not atall comfortable bed for him to sleep. But he was sleeping so calmly that he couldn't even get disturbed with the loud noise going on around him on a construction site. He is not rich person.He has day to day problems like we do have.But for me he is the happiest man in the world.Just have a look at how peacefully he is sleeping.

I have been very very busy in the work since my last post so couldn't update my blog regularly.But the current situation in Mumbai have made me very upset.Many people have written many things about the attacks so right now I am not going to add to those things.What I want to show here is single sms. Many people sent many sms messages expressing their views and commenting on current situations.I am typing here the one which I liked the most.(This sms have background that the terrorists came by boat from sea)

I never believed that such thing will be important gadget for me ever.Yes that thing is electric Mosquito Racket.This is really amazing.Mosquitos have always been harassing me since i was child.They really irritate you when you sleep, and even when you are waking up.Particularly when you sleep, the song which they sing in your ears, never allow you to sleep peacefully.

I have tried many solutions to get rid from trouble of mosquitos.I have tried Mosquito mats which generate some bad odour and makes the room poluted and many times I have found mosquitos sitting on them.Mosquito coils were effective but they were also effective on humans.They generate smoke which really polutes the room and you inhale the smoke which is not good for my health.Mosquito Net is also really a nice option but the process of puting on the net and dismentling it is boaring and if the Mosquito by chance enters the net, even one Mosquito have capacity to harm your sleep.

But this racket is really amazing.It has rechargable cells.Just put the switch on, and lightly touch (even if you hit hard its ok but make sure you don't hit the racket on other hard things and damageit.) the Mosquito with it and thats it you hear a cracking sound and the Mosquito is dead.You can kill bunch of Mosquitos with it easily and it is really result oriented.

I really loved it.

Some part of the residential complex where I live is going to be used for road widening.The compound wall will be demolished and we(residents) will have to surrunder the required area and construct the new compound wall as per the guidelines of the local authority.We don't have any objection about that as we always support the developement.But were many trees near the wall and those were around 40 years of age.Yesterday night suddenly the trees were cut down and now we can see what we have lost by trees.We were really protected by those trees.They gave us lots of shelter , protected us from the dust,gave us lots of fresh air.They also act as our natural fence.But today morning it was really sad to see the empty land.It will take many more years to grow up the new trees to such size.

Developement is really must but at the same time we must think about usefullness of trees.The impact of the tree cutting on the environment also must be studied.New techniques to pull out and rehabilitate the trees must be introduced and used efficiently.

Generally in urban area most of the trees are planted for providing shelter and beautification. Actually these two reasons are sifficient for tree plantation but there are many other benefits which can be divided in following categories Social Benefits,Communal Benefits ,Environmental Benefits and Economic Benefits.

In this modern era,saving trees is really must if we want to survive.Saving trees is saving yourself.

Animal Planet Doccumentry about Ants

Documentary about Ants:
Yesterday I was watching Animal planet as usual and threre was a documentary going on about ants.What they were showing was awesome.The film was featured on life of ants near Amazon river.It contained everything from how the day for the Ants start and what do the ants do in there day to day life and how the process changes according to seasons.
But what I liked most was te last part of the documentary which contained what do the ants do when their nest is drowned in the Amazon floods. What they do in such case is really amazing.The worker ants make a live raft by holding each others' legs together.It becomes a huge raft really.

Then the warrior or guard ants carry their queen on that raft.The queen really needs protection as if there is queen, there can be mre and more ants and the system will continue but without queen the ants will die soon as they won't have further population to run the system.So coming back to the topic, the ants take care of queen and protect her from all sides on the raft and then the raft flows.In this process many of the ant die in the water but they don't care about themselves and perform this act.The raft is driven by river current.One more thing I would like to tell here is this liveraft don't have any tool giving direction so they are really depending on the river current for direction nd flow.
Meanwhile the raft faces many dangers from creatures living in the surroundings of the river.Many fishes like eating these ants and they strightway attack this raft of ants as its the most easy pray for them.They virtually bite this live raft and the size of the raft gets reduced with every such bite.But still these ants don't bother and remain connected to eachother clinging their legs firmly.There are few birds who live on the trees besides the river bank who love to eat ants.So these birds also cause reducing the raft size.But still the voyage continues.

And if the ants are lucky, they atlst get very close to the river bank .At this point the ants remain calm and patient they do next process step by step.First of all they carry queen ant to the bank in dry area.Then turn by turn the raft gets dismentaled and the ants are ready to build a new coloney.

The sacrifice they do for their coloney is really amazing.I really salute ants for this descipline and dedication.

Noida Killngs

Noida Killings:
The worst event occured in India at the end of year 2006 was the revealed killings in Noida.These killings were a great curse to the humanity.Governmen found dead bodies rather bones and skalatones of many children.They were burried in the area of a house in Noida.

Officials doubt that these killings may have been done in course of a human organ trading.i can't even imagine how cruel these people must be.

positive attitude by Indian Cricket Team

It was the last day of first test match between India and England.On last day India had to make 368 to win the match and from the situation 131 for 1 at tea they suddenly acclerated the game and finished at 260 for 6 at close. This is really really something new with Indian team.For entire cricket career, India may have very few such circumstances where they have been so much positive otherwise normally Indians go on backfoot and try to draw the match.This aggression must have been introduced by the Indian coach Mr.Chappel. In game like cricket when you consistently play positive, you always taste the fruits.Australian team is one of such teams which is known for their positive attitude towards game.So, hats off to Mr.Chappel.

Hi friends
Last week I was not able to sleep very well one night so I was just surfing the TV channels and then I came accross a movie channel where they were showing a movie The Pianist.It is a very famous movie (Accademy award for Best Director) about a Jew Pianist in Poland , about what he faced in the period of world war and that to just because he was Jew. My wife told me not to see such movies at night because i would have lost sleep for whole night. But I told her that we must thank god that we were not at that place.We must see such movies to know what people have faced and how they tried to overcome those things.We will come to know the price of life which we are living right now , we will come to know the price of Freedom.
There are few occassions when we are sad, we worry a lot. But at that time we must remember that there are (and were)people who are/were in deep sorrow than us.We should not give a sigh of relief after thinking that but we should motivate ourselves to come out of the trouble.We should think the ways in which we can help ourselves as well as people.
To conclude I would like to give example of current electricity crises due to increased demand at this portion of year in our state.
In some part of our state [other than Mumbai the city where I live (also called as Bombay)] there is load shading(electricity goes off) for 4 hours a day.People think that they are in deep trouble.Indeed they are in deep trouble but they should also think that there are other parts of the state in which there is power shading for 11 to 12 hours.Think what they must be suffering.Electricity is essential thing and we must try our best to come out of this problem.As the production is not in our hands, what we can do is.... use it like very expensive thing and by not wasting it.There are many suggestions given by the electricity board like not using pumps,heaters,AC etc. in the evening when there is very high demand for electricity and there are some other measures also.If the people who have less loadshading comply with these things then, the load shading in other areas will reduced with these areas too.So the question is about understanding each other.They don't have electricity but atleast they are getting water.There are many parts in the world where people have to dig the water from ground.We must salute to those people.So the key is to be greater than a problem and never let the problem get bigger.
Guys this is my very first blog in my life and if I am wrong somewhere please suggest me corrections.
